Here at EdgeIX, we operate a Discord Server which provides a space for peers and professionals to come together virtually and discuss all things industry related.

A number of peers have collaborated in developing the EdgeIX Discord Bot - which, while it is in its infancy, has been created to provide useful ChatBot-style functionality to members of the server.

Current features of the bot include the ability to look up the ASN of a peer on the IX and report if they are established on any of the route servers - a commonly utilised feature on many Looking Glasses. The EdgeIX Discord is open to all EdgeIX peers and interested professionals. If you’re a peer, you will need to register your ASN with the Bot upon joining to receive ‘Peer’ access, which provides you with the ability to talk in all channels (including the bot channel).

If you are a professional - that’s OK too! You are still welcome to join but will be limited to the ‘General Chat’ channel group until you become a peer (or work for a peer)!
